June 23 (King World News) – Nomi Prins: The World Gold Council published its 2026 Central Bank Gold Reserves Survey. A record 45% of central banks plan to add to their own gold over the next year, the highest ever, and just 1% plan to cut.
74% expect the dollar’s share of reserves to fall over five years, 84% expect gold’s to grow. Central banks have bought about 1,000 tons a year for four years, and gold has already passed U.S. Treasuries the #1 reserve asset.
