Today King World News is pleased to share a fantastic piece which give readers a remarkable view of the war in the gold, stock and natural gas markets.  This piece also includes 3 key illustrations that all KWN readers around the world must see.

SentimenTrader:  "Investors have been paying up for protection against a market decline in the four major index ETFs, though not to a degree that indicated panic in the past.  As the bull market ages, they are becoming more and more willing to pay up, similar to 2007 (see chart below).

The latest Optimism readings for currencies and commodities showed a predictable drop in optimism in grains like corn and soybeans, and a surprising drop in natural gas.  At 13, the (natural gas) Optix is now the lowest since 2002.  It dipped to this level of extreme several times from 1998 – 2002, leading to rallies of weeks to months.  ETF tracking products like UNG are highly flawed, but for those watching, a rally back above 13.60ish would suggest recent selling was a washout, with higher prices in store.

King World News note:  Also of interest, the chart below shows there is still a great deal of negative sentiment in the gold market.
