May 6 (King World News) – Alasdair Macleod: “I’m in Frankfurt and I’ve just come back from dinner with Matthew Piepenburg and Egon von Greyerz. And I think Egon put it absolutely right. He said, ‘I’ve always held gold, I stay wilt gold. I tell people don’t trade it, just sit in the position, you just have to be patient. We know what’s going to happen. Don’t fret about the ups and downs, they are completely irrelevant.’ And you know, he’s absolutely right.
And I think Friday was a very good example of why he is right. Anyone who tries to trade this market gets whipsawed by the vested interests. But we do know that over time the gold price will rise.
