Bill Fleckenstein: “Don’t try to be too clever. This is a bull market and you’re going to make your money by sitting tight and not trying to be too cute. Now, if you have outsized positions in certain things or they are super speculative and they have gone up a bunch, then you have to manage the risk in the individual positions and perhaps your overall portfolio.
But ex-managing the risk because different names have gotten too big or have gone to a place where, now, news flow may matter more than it did before, then the risk people have is they are going to try to get too cute and they are going to get left behind.
