Michael Oliver, the man who is well known for his deadly accurate forecasts on stocks, bonds, and major markets, warned King World News that gold and silver mining stocks are coiled for a historic and violent 355% surge.

January 19 (King World News) – Michael Oliver, Founder of MSA Research:  Here are the miners vs. gold, a situation we’ve shown numerous times. It’s now decimals from breaking out of an eleven-year-wide base. And over the past year and a half, the miners have been beating gold (moving from range bottom to range top). A monthly close on this spread at 8.625% would clear all monthly closing readings since 2014. It’s now at 8.57%.

That 89.5% crash mirrored the Great Depression Dow Jones stock market crash from 381 to 41! But the XAU vs Gold may be on the cusp of finally breaking out of the Devil’s Box and skyrocketing!

MSA doesn’t expect this range top to halt the surge in this third attack on it. In that case, we expect a jolting upside in miners vs. gold, and that will likely quickly reach (within a year?) the old lows of the prior decades. Old failed support now becomes first major resistance. It’s still “cheap” at that level vs. gold, historically, but there will be more than a doubling in their relative valuation to gold to get there. 

Just to throw out a number: what if gold were to merely do what it has done twice before in its bull trends since being legalized in 1975? Just another eight-fold bull trend, which this time would argue somewhere above $8000 gold to match those two prior bulls. Well, if this spread were to reach the bottom end of that old reality of relative valuation (around the 17.5% level) with gold at $8000, that would argue that XAU’s price, now at 395, would be around 1400 [a jaw-dropping 355% surge!].
