As we get ready to kickoff a new year, silver has enormous upside in 2022.
December 24 (King World News) – Alasdair Macleod: I would like to say something about silver. I think silver has enormous potential in 2022. The reason for this is that silver is one of those commodities which benefits from the move away from fossil fuels. Silver is a major, major beneficiary of this move away from fossil fuels. And if you look at some of the other beneficiaries — lithium carbide, up 520% this year, uranium up 50% this year, copper up 25%. And what did silver do? Down 15%. Now we know why, it’s down 15% because the bullion banks have tried to sit on the price and they’ve been quite successful in doing that. But now we’ve got a new year and I have no doubt that in the first quarter of this year the clamor to move away from fossil fuels will continue and I think that silver will begin to benefit from that trend.
