55-year market veteran, James Turk, spoke with King World News about Friday’s Comex shutdown and the wild trading in the silver market after it reopened.
Friday’s Comex Shutdown
November 30 (King World News) – Eric King: “James, what a wild day. So the CME shuts down for hours – they couldn’t get their act together. We knew something was going on with silver. And then Comex reopened, but these guys are having some issues over there. And I’m sure it has to do with the short crews that rail lines of cocaine that step in front of these things and have no idea what’s going on in the physical market.”
James Turk: “Yeah, they said their data centers were overheating, but I think the silver prices were too hot. In fact, as soon as they opened up trading, silver just bolted out of the gate. As we speak silver is at a new daily, weekly, monthly, all-time high. I expect to see at least a 30/1 Gold/Silver ratio, and probably lower, maybe 20/1. So let’s say gold continues its climb to $5,000, at 20/1 that equals $250 silver. Are we going to see that?
