Gold is hitting another record high, but the big surprise is in the silver market.

February 14 (King World News) – Peter Boockvar:  Another record high in gold today and silver is playing some catch up, though is still well off its record high. We remain bullish and long of both (platinum too). So, while the US dollar has been strong against most fiat currencies, it has been very weak against gold, the 5000 year old non-fiat currency. The gold miners are finally playing some catch up too but remain very inexpensive. I include in a chart below the gold/silver price charts of the known ETF gold holdings and it still remains well off its 2020 peak when western investors decided to sell gold and buy bonds that finally had a yield again. Consider this possible dry powder.

Gold $5,000, Silver $100
Graddhy out of Sweden:  Silver is now breaking higher above $32.77 level as expected.

I have been stating gold $3000-$3300 and silver $40-$45 is next.

Silver Futures Have Already Broken Out On The Upside

After that, gold $5000 and silver $100 is coming.

I have also been stating since gold $2100 breakout that gold is in a runaway move, and that it will most probably not backtest the breakout. It has not.

When this ratio chart moves up, silver outperforms gold big picture.

And that is what is coming since silver and gold broke out hugely a year ago.
