Sporting Lisbon gives up attempt to sign Ghana's Boateng

LISBON, Portugal (AP) — Sporting Lisbon says its efforts to sign midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng have ended after the two sides failed to reach agreement on the player’s image rights.
