Levine withdraws from new Met Opera staging of Berg's 'Lulu'
NEW YORK (AP) — Metropolitan Opera music director James Levine is withdrawing from the company’s new production of Berg’s “Lulu” to concentrate on a revival of Wagner’s “Tannhaeuser.”
