Rays put Odorizzi on DL with oblique strain (Yahoo Sports)

The Tampa Bay Rays have put starting pitcher Jake Odorizzi on the 15-day disabled list with a left oblique strain. The move was announced before Tuesday night’s game against the Los Angeles Angels. Odorizzi, 4-5 with a 2.47 ERA in 12 games this season, left his previous start Friday night at Seattle in the fifth inning with left side tightness.
