CAPE TOWN (Reuters) – Chevron’s 110,000 barrel per day refinery in South Africa is operating normally after losing around 30 percent of its output due to a mechanical fault, the firm said on Monday. “We can confirm that the refinery is operating as per normal,” a spokeswoman said in a statement after the unplanned outage about two weeks ago affected the supply of petrol, diesel and liquefied petroleum gas.
