NEW YORK (AP) — Activist investment firm Starboard Value says retailer Macy’s could boost its share price by spinning off its real estate into a separate company or forming a joint venture, saying the shares are worth almost double their current price.

Center Ryan Kesler has agreed to a six-year, $41.25 million contract extension with the Anaheim Ducks. Anaheim announced the new deal Wednesday. Kesler had 20 goals, 27 assists and 75 penalty minutes last season in his first year with Anaheim after nine seasons with the Vancouver Canucks.
Jordan Spieth was set Wednesday to carry his storming start to the season into the British Open at St Andrews, while all eyes were looking skywards for further signs of rough weather on the way.
