Now that has failed to contain and given hyperinflationary policies of major CBs it is in their interests to secure their gold reserves and if possible add to them. Gold leasing drying up. Meanwhile liquidity being withdrawn from BB traders in a widespread squeeze. Being forced to cut short positions accordingly, so paper market faces a Scylla withdrawal of lease supply and a Charybdis of a liquidity squeeze. Promises a crisis at the heart of the financial system.”…

Peter Boockvar: “Just one comment on the virus and an economic phoenix rising. It is becoming clear that the key factor in determining when the reopening will begin, however gradual and staggered it will be, is where we will be with mass testing. According to a Scott Gottlieb tweet on Thursday (taken from his “A road map to reopening”), and I’ll use him as an authority on this, he defines mass testing as “at least 750,000 people a week.” He then goes thru how he got there but let’s use that as some benchmark. He does though say to be really safe, we’re going to need “several million or more” but let’s start with 750,000.”
